Our staff are an important part of our mountain's personalities and help us deliver on our purpose. This is a mixed service role which in the mornings will require you to greet passengers at various locations in Queenstown and assist them in a safe, friendly and informative manner to and from our ski fields and in the evenings assist the Team Leaders and Drivers with custodial duties at our depot.
About the role
- Assist with the management of our passenger queues and to provide our guests with information and a great guest experience
- Helping to load guest equipment and ticket collecting
- Quick and safe snowchain fitting to our bus fleet when required
- Cleaning of our buses both inside and out
- Ensuring the bus cleaning facilities operated correctly and are kept tidy and organised and stocked with necessary supplies
About you
- Proven ability to work unsupervised along with the ability to work under pressure in a team environment.
- High levels of energy
- Good physical fitness
- Excellent personal presentation
- Punctual, flexible and reliable
- Health & safety conscious and a good record in this area
- Willing to help in other departments/areas of the mountain as requested
- Comfortable working in an alpine environment in a variety of weather conditions
- A First Aid qualification and a current Drivers Licence will be an advantage, however not essential
- An understanding that employment is subject to the vagaries of the weather and the hours of work cannot be guaranteed
